Use our savory orange marmalade to create a Sassy Cocktail
Mischievous Manhattan
Add 2 oz bourbon/rye/whiskey, 1 oz sweet vermouth, 1/2 t Spread-mmms Savory Orange Marmalade & some ice to a shaker. Shake, strain & serve. Garnish with a cherry.
* Add a splash of the cherry juice (optional)
Distrito Federal (Tequila Manhattan with a twist)
Add 2 oz tequila reposado, 1 oz sweet vermouth, 1/2 t Spread-mmms Savory Orange Marmalade, a splash of 'juice' from the cherries & some ice to a shaker. Shake, strain & serve. Garnish with a cherry.
Brooklyn Mule
Add 2oz bourbon/whiskey, 1 1/2t Spread-mmms Savory Orange Marmalade, 1 T lime juice, 3 dashes of bitters & some ice to a shaker. Shake, strain & pour into a glass with ice. Top with ginger beer (approx. 1/4 c). Garnish with a wedge of lime.
Marmalade Toddy
Add 1 T Spread-mmms Savory Orange Marmalade 1 1/2 oz bourbon/whiskey/rye, juice of 1/2 a lemon (incl. the actual lemon too) to a mug. Fill mug with hot water. Stir gently to combine.
Mischievous Marmalade Margarita
Salt the rim of a glass and fill with ice cubes. Add 3 oz tequila blanco, 3/4 oz lime juice, 3/4 oz lemon juice, 1 1/2 T Spread-mmms Savory Orange Marmalade, 1/2 oz agave syrup & some ice to a shaker. Shake, strain & serve.
Sassy Tequila Smash
Fill a tall glass with ice. In a separate glass combine 1 1/2 oz tequila blanco, 1 t Spread-mmms Savory Orange Marmalade & juice from 1/2 a lime (stir to dissolve the marmalade). Pour the mixture into the glass with ice, top off with tonic water, and give a gentle stir.
Racy Ranch Water
Fill a tall glass with ice. In a separate glass combine 1 1/2 oz tequila blanco, 1 T Spread-mmms Savory Orange Marmalade & 1/2 oz lime juice (stir to dissolve the marmalade). Pour the mixture into the glass with ice, top off with Topo Chico or sparking water, and give a gentle stir.
