It began many years ago. I needed a special something for a gathering of friends... & tapenade was a request.
I searched through all of my best tapenade taste memories & created my very own recipe, combining favorite aspects of many different tapenades from both sides of the Mediterranean. This tapenade was a huge hit!!! It soon became a regularly requested item for parties, pot lucks, events…you name it.
Over time & with the help of many friends, this tapenade grew into a business. One tapenade quickly grew into a family of Sassy Savory Spreads. I love how this food grew out of friendship & continues to bring friends together.

All of our products are packaged in recyclable containers. Help us do our part. Please recycle our containers when you are done.
We offer package-free & car free delivery to many stores in NYC to reduce our carbon footprint.
As part of our production process, we compost acceptable food waste!
